Latest FIFA World football rankings
ZURICH - Argentina have climbed above Germany to take the top spot in the monthly FIFA World Ranking despite losing another tournament final.
Beaten by Chile in the Copa America final, a year after losing the World Cup final to Germany, Argentina have risen two places to lead the rankings for the first time in seven years. Chile are up eight to No. 11.

Both will be seeded in the World Cup qualifying draw on July 25 after FIFA confirmed the draw pots will be determined by the latest rankings.
